Amy is a creative visionary based in Waco, Texas. She specializes in designing unique outdoor experiences. Amy is best known for her work with Chip and Joanna Gaines, having contributed to the master plan for the Magnolia Silos grounds and gardens as well as many iconic Fixer Upper landscape designs. Beyond Magnolia, Amy has collaborated with local businesses, city leaders, and community groups to create outdoor spaces that offer beauty, peace and a sense of place.
Amy’s first love is gardening. She still remembers the moment, as a kindergartener, when she brought home a dixie cup filled with marigold seeds and potting soil. Watching those tiny seeds sprout to life, she thought: “This is a miracle! God must be real…” Amy has felt a spiritual connection to nature ever since! It’s her hope to bring that same joy and wonder to each of her projects as she seeks to ‘nurture souls with the beauty of creation’.
When she is not designing, you can find Amy at home in her garden which is her sanctuary. She and her husband Jonathan of 24 years, have lived in their home (featured on the show Fixer Upper in 2014) for 10 years and have raised their 2 kids there. Now empty nesters, the Gulleys love hosting friends and family and giving their time to create beautiful experiences in their backyard, turned flower farm.
